you probably are not looking for another Georgia topic, but Id love to see more detail about the impact of whats happened so far on public opinion in europe, most especially in Germany, and especially as it relates to Russia.
Well, alright. Um. How about:

After the events in Georgia, the likelihood that Azerbaijan will attempt to seize Nagorno Karabagh. If so, when?
I take my topic back. Doug Muir has already partially addressed Nagorno Karabagh on August 13.
Also on Georgia, I’d like to read your thoughts on the strange history of Russian cooperation as co-religionists with the Georgians (as well as the Armenians)in the Caucasus over the past 250 years. As I see it (I can read Russian but not Georgian) the Russians feel a sense of BIG brotherhood with the Caucasian Christians, and of course Hell hath no fury like a big brother rejected, after all the help he’s given you. And then there’s the whole Stalin thing.
But I’m one-dimensional. I’ve only visited Georgia once (to see Tblisi and Gori), and have no firsthand knowledge of how the Georgians feel about Russia, and may be projecting as a younger brother myself.
OK, I’ll write something tomorrow night. Haven’t decided what. Thanks for all your suggestions. Keep them coming.
This may seem like a given but:
Updates on Karadzic and his trial and the overall implications any new developments would have on the Balkans.
