The high points of my blogging career are this, the time Atrios linked to me and the time that someone hinted that he was thinking of suing me.
I’m 44 years old born in Washington DC but live in Frascati which is South of Rome and next to Monte Porzio home town of Cato the censor.

Did Cato the Younger also come from Monte Porzio?
And does “Monte Porzio” really mean “Pig Mountain”?
Cato the Younger went Rome (like going hollywood) except for jaunts to the family summer mansion.
I think Porzio means shapely. However, the road to Monte Porzio used to be called “via dei prati dei porci” (field of pigs street) and has been renamed “via dei pietri porzi” (shapely stones street). Cato would be indignant (Cato was always indignant).
How nice to see my favorite under-appreciated blogger turn up at one of my favorite appreciated sites.
Now if you could only get them to spill the beans on how they implemented that anti-spam measure in the comments box…

I shouldn’t use fistful for my blogspot housekeeping but if you click on the hour of the post (lower right hand corner in orange type after posted by Robert Waldmann) then you get the link of that post and at the bottom of the page there is an orange post a comment link.
This is new for blogspot. Thanks for patience fistfullers.
